After outcry, China begins strict checks of test kits, PPE

Stung by the adverse publicity due to the supply of sub-standard testing kits and personal protective equipment (PPE) to foreign recipients, China has begun a rigorous quality control for fresh consignments that are being shipped across the globe, including India, with a list of pre-screened firms eligible to handle contracts.
