Curfew in Pune, 7.5 million to stay locked down

A day after Pune was declared a containment zone and sealed, the local police on Monday imposed a curfew across the city till April 27 midnight, putting further restrictions on the movement of people and vehicles and the working hours of shops selling essential items. The police stepped up their presence on the roads to ensure that 7.5 million population remained indoors.
