Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday performed the 'bhoomi poojan' of Ahmedabad Metro rail project phase-II and Surat Metro rail project via video conferencing. The two Metro projects will provide an environment-friendly 'Mass Rapid Transit System' (MRTS) to Ahmedabad and Surat.
