Mumbai: Over 6 lakh in home quarantine, BMC has a task ensuring they stay put

The recent spike in the number of Covid-positive cases in the city has been accompanied by number of people opting for home quarantine. While there are more than 90K active cases in the city currently, 6.10 lakh people are in-home quarantine, according to data put out by the BMC. Of the 90,000-odd active cases, 75K are asymptomatic and their condition is stable, the data states.
