DCGI approves anti-Covid drug developed by DRDO for emergency use

The Drugs Controller General of India’s (DCGI) has approved an anti-Coviddrug - 2-deoxy-D-glucose (2-DG) for emergency use. This has been developed by the Institute of Nuclear Medicine and Allied Sciences (INMAS), a lab of Defence Research and Development Organisation.
