Taliban vow to respect women’s rights within Sharia, and to seek no vengeance

The Taliban vowed on Tuesday that they would respect women’s rights within the boundaries of Sharia law and would not seek revenge against those it had fought or against those that had worked with Western powers or the earlier government.
