50% surplus rain recorded in wettest week this monsoon

Surpluse rains were seen in the weeks ending June 22 (45%) and July 6 (28%), but nothing compared to the past seven days, when the country recorded 93.5mm rainfall. At least 42 districts received 300% more rainfall than normal for the period.
