Flagging 'absence of advance planning' parliamentary panel calls for proper utilisation of budget for tribals

The Committee has stated that “it would expect that the funds are fully utilized for the purpose and are not subsequently revised for one or the other reason.” It notes that a significant part of the increased allocation this year is aimed at facilitating construction of additional Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS) in the next two years to meet the target of 740 EMRS by 2025-26.
