What we know about the hostages Hamas is holding

Hamas militants have taken around 120 hostages, including civilians and soldiers, during an attack in Israel. The exact number is uncertain, but estimates suggest it could be around 150. The hostages include Israeli soldiers, women, children, elderly individuals, as well as foreign workers and people with dual nationality. Evidence of the kidnappings has been provided by images published by Hamas.
